On Friday, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted to end the universal hepatitis B birth dose. Our office has been contacted by a local physician who reported receiving a phone call from a scammer representing themselves as being from the DEA. This was a major issue five years ago but seems to be returning as a threat.
