Finally, I'm pleased to report that SB 276, the important legislation to crackdown on fraudulent vaccine exemptions, has cleared both houses of the Legislature and was just signed by the Governor. Surprisingly, Gov. Newsom asked for additional amendments to the bill after it had already passed the Legislature. The legislators responded by passing a companion measure that contained the Governor's requested changes. This is a significant victory for public health!
