NYCU November 19, 2019 November 25, 2019 CMA, CMA Benefits, General, Public Health, SDCMS 0 TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2019 PHYSICIANS: We would like to draw your attention to a new member benefit offered this year by the California Medical Association. Nearly 80 percent of health care searches begin online today so the CMA has partnered with PatientPop to help physicians improve their online presence and attract more patients. PatientPop offers integrated solutions including social media marketing, online reputation management and search engine optimization. PatientPop can help physicians promote their practices online and attract and retain new patients. PatientPop will provide CMA members with a free audit of their digital profile and a free one–hour consultation to learn how it can help promote your practice online. Members receive deeply discounted service fees and save 50% off their implementation fee. For more information and to begin to explore this tremendous new member benefit CLICK HERE. With Thanksgiving fast approaching, now is a good time to think about the less fortunate and different ways to reduce hunger in California. The San Diego Food Bank and other organizations are encouraging people to sign up for a free pre–registration for the ‘Imagine No Hunger’ special license plate featuring the iconic John Lennon self–portrait. If 7,500 people pre–register for the plate by January 3, 2020 then the DMV will create the special license plate and you will be issued the plate when it becomes available, registered to your vehicle. If you're a huge Beatles fan like I am, this is a particularly fun way to help support anti–hunger programs here in California. For more information and to pre–register CLICK HERE. Please be sure to specify you support our local food bank — the “Jacobs Cushman San Diego Food Bank” — when you fill out the online form. Finally, may you and yours have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving. As always, let me know if you have any questions!
