About 1.7 million San Diegans have received at least one dose of a two–dose vaccine, and more than 1.2 million are now fully vaccinated but we need more of our fellow San Diegans to be vaccinated. Champions for Health, the charitable arm of the San Diego County Medical Society has created the CARE TB program that is aimed at improving latent TB infection (LTBI) education/testing within the Filipino and Vietnamese communities. Besides community feedback, they are seeking input from physicians on how they can best be supported when it comes to LTBI.
