National Advice Line for Providers: The Clinical Consultation Center is open Monday–Friday, 7am–3pm, and is managed by the UCSF physicians that do the HIV advice line. The San Diego Prescription Drug Abuse Medical Task Force tested out the system with a case presentation. The physicians answering the phone are certified in primary care and addiction treatment and encourage any provider to call for confidential clinical advice on patients with substance use disorders. Ensure You Receive Maximum Incentive Funds: Champions for Health (formerly the SDCMS Foundation) can assist primary care and specialty care physicians with new reporting to ensure you receive maximum incentive funds. Those physicians registered for Medi-Cal (30% of practice) are eligible to receive FREE technical assistance, with very low-cost technical assistance available for Medicare providers.
