When the Governor first presented his Budget in January and revised in May, there was no money from Proposition 56 to improve Medi-Cal rates as promised in the initiative. Thanks to thousands of calls from physicians and having a physician in both the State Senate and State Assembly, we were able to secure over $1 billion dollars to improve provider rates. Thank you to those of you help make this truly grass-roots effort possible.
