NYCU July 17, 2018 July 31, 2018 CMA, SDCMS 0 TUESDAY, JULY 17, 2018 PHYSICIANS: CMA joined with the California Dental Association and filed a ballot initiative for the 2020 election year. The ballot initiative would implement a statewide tax on sugar-sweetened drinks. The revenue raised from this tax will go to fund critical health programs at the state level.
