The Results of SDCMS’ 2012 Medical Office Salary Survey Are In!

SDCMS member physicians are invited to email Editor@SDCMS.org to receive their copy of our survey results.

SDCMS conducted its inaugural medical office salary survey in April and May of 2012. The following questions were asked:

4. number of full-time mid-level providers in the office
5. number of full-time nonclinical employees in the office
6. salary without benefits and number of years of experience for the following:
   • front desk position
   • front / back office position for a one-person office
   • certification / insurance / pre-auth verifier
   • surgery / procedure scheduler
   • data entry / clerical position
   • insurance biller / insurance claim tracker
   • patient collection representative

   • department / site lead (for at least three staff)
